A dose of optimism with your morning coffee!

I don’t know about you, but I always try to find some good news to start the day. Sometimes, that’s a Herculean task, but today it was as easy as a trip to PJ Media to read a story by Debra Heine called “The Coup Against Trump Has Failed — Is the Worm About to Turn?”

That was music to my ears. Heine writes what the rest of us are only brave enough to dream about — a day when the anti-Trump conspirators at the FBI and Justice Department are held accountable politically if not criminally. What matters most isn’t seeing Comey behind bars where he belongs, but seeing Trump re-elected so that he can continue to thwart progressives from “fundamentally transforming” the country into a socialist paradise like, er, Venezuela.

My favorite part of Heine’s article is where she quotes John Dowd, the president’s former attorney, in a recent appearance on Brian Kilmeade’s radio show. I was never a big fan of Dowd when he was on retainer, but since leaving the White House he is proving to be a strong ally of President Trump.

“Little did I know that it appears that they were all in it together,” Dowd said. “I mean Rosenstein, Comey, Mueller, McCabe, the whole crowd and they were out to get this president no matter what. I don’t think they sincerely believed anything about Russia.”

“This is our worst nightmare that someone with that kind of power would then decide to go after the president. I mean, it’s a coup,” Dowd added. “That’s what it is — an attempted coup by Comey and his crowd. And the evidence is all over there. I take the New York Times article as an admission of their bad behavior.”

On top of that, Heine is willing to see good coming out of not just the Inspector General’s report about Justice Department abuses, but even the phantom investigation of U.S. attorney John Huber into the Clinton involvement with Russia and Uranium One. That may be a bridge too far for most of us, but heck it’s early in the day, I haven’t finished my first cup of coffee yet, the Dow is up, and I’m in the mood for a win!

  1. I think the worm is going to turn soon. The leftist media can’t walk back their 2+ yrs of lies either. They will also be big losers along with the DOJ and FBI. I know its been long in coming but the stage has had to be set securely.
