President Trump was on fire this afternoon at the conservative CPAC convention. He happily promoted his America First agenda, but my favorite moment was when the president took on the Fake News Media over their distortion of his 2016 campaign joke about Hillary’s missing emails.
You remember the incident, of course. How could you forget it when the Democrats used this light-hearted moment to try to impeach the president!?? As Trump characterized the Mueller investigation with glee today, it is all “bullshit.”
It was back in July 2016 at a press conference in Doral, Florida, when Trump said: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” This was the same press conference where Trump said he didn’t know if Russia had hacked Democratic servers, but if they had, then it showed that they had no respect for the US government. When he made the crack about the emails, I laughed out loud. He wasn’t asking Russia to hack anybody’s computer — he was making fun of Hillary Clinton for deleting 30,000 supposedly personal emails instead of turning them over under court order. He was also making fun of her for putting classified data on an insecure server in the first place, but the server that once held the emails was no longer online. It had been investigated by the FBI and stripped clean by that time. The absurdity of the press, the Democrats and the Justice Department investigating President Trump over that joke just shows how far we have sunk.
So today Trump revisited the incident.
“With the Fake News, if you tell a joke, if you’re sarcastic, if you’re having fun with the audience, if you’re in live television with millions of people, and if you say something like ‘Russia please if you can get us Hillary Clinton’s emails… please Russia PLEASE…’ So everybody’s having a good time, I’m laughing, we’re all having fun and then that Fake CNN and others say ‘He asked Russia to get the emails… horrible.’ These people are sick!”
“All of the sudden they’re trying to take you out with bullshit,” Trump said, in reference to Mueller’s probe. “
What’s really funny is that now the Fake News Media is trying to spin it again. Now they say “President Trump now claims he was ‘joking’ about Clinton’s emails” as if it were some elaborate cover-up that he just thought of instead of just restating the obvious. It was a joke, folks! How different our political life would be if Democrats had a sense of humor!

People need to call them what they are. Not socialists, not democrats, they are communists. (Although there is not much difference between socialists and communists.) CPUSA has taken over the party of JFK. We used to kill communists in Vietnam “so we wouldn’t have to fight them over here” we were told. Now we elect them in congress, local town halls, state legislatures etc. Wake Up America! We are in a fight for Good vs Evill. Pretty sick that they see nothing wrong with killing full term babies.
