It didn’t take me more than a few minutes this morning to dispel the headline at Real Clear Politics that said “The Fantasy Crumbles for the Dem Media Complex.”

Umm no, it didn’t. The fantasy is alive and well this Easter Sunday in a kind of cruel parody of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Or more accurately in a tribute to all those slasher horror movies where the evil bastard just won’t die.

The Democratic Media Complex won’t die easily, and they certainly aren’t loosing their grip on the dagger of the Mueller probe that has already been stabbed repeatedly into the body politic.

My evidence? The Sunday morning talk shows, especially Martha Raddatz’s rude questioning of Kellyanne Conway on ABC, Jake Tapper’s obstinate interview with Rudy Giuliani on CNN, Chuck Todd’s even worse interview with Giuliani on NBC, and the media “round tables” on all of the shows. You could add in all of the breathless reporting and editorializing (is there still a difference?) in the Washington Post and the New York Times about how the Mueller Report proved President Trump should not be president.

Haven’t we been here before? Oh yes. For three years! Maybe it isn’t a fantasy at all. Maybe it is an intentional lie, but either way, the Democratic Media Complex isn’t going anywhere, and they won’t change their tune just because they have been proven wrong. Far from it! They are just going to double down on their lies and smears and won’t stop until Donald Trump is re-elected on November 3, 2020.
