Homan defends ICE, says Democrats are now a ‘hate group’

Tom Homan, the former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is rapidly becoming one of my favorite common-sense conservatives. He fights back against the radical left narrative that America is a racist country and is a true patriot.

On Monday, Homan was a guest on “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News to discuss Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot’s policy of banning Chicago police from assisting ICE in apprehending dangerous illegal aliens. Not only that, Chicago police will be ordered to abandon the scene if ICE is trying to make an immigration arrest.

The blood of the first ICE officer killed in such a scenario will be at the feet of a Mayor Lightfoot and the Chicago PD, which is cooperating with the policy.

Lightfoot said, “We will never, ever succumb to the racist, xenophobic rhetoric of ICE.”

Homan fought back on Ingraham’s show and lamented that “members of the Democratic Party have created their own hate group against law enforcement.”

He pointed out that ICE has made the streets of Chicago safer and said it would be nice to get a simple thank-you.
