Deep State vs. JFK 2.0: Election fraud as a hit job (Part 2)

(Editor’s Note: This is Part 2 of my analysis of the 2020 election as a modern version of the JFK assassination. Read Part 1 here.)

By Frank Miele

As any serious student of history can tell you, Jim Garrison nearly broke the biggest conspiracy of the 20th century when he alleged a plot to kill the president of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Sadly, a hostile media working in cooperation with the Deep State sabotaged Garrison’s prosecution and left him a figure of ridicule and contempt rather than a national hero.

The same fate may await Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s attorney who has vowed to expose what we might presume to be the biggest conspiracy of the 21st century — the rigging of the 2020 election to unseat a president.

If you accept the idea that the Deep State has had a vendetta against Donald Trump that stretches back more than four years, it is easy to conclude that the culmination of that blood feud played out in the 2020 election.

It is also easy to see parallels between the “hit” on Trump and the “hit” on JFK, and that once again the mainstream media is intent on covering up the truth.

Keeping in mind Sen. Chuck Schumer’s warning that if “you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” we know that Trump has been a thorn in the side of the FBI and CIA from the start.

He wanted to shake up the system, drain the swamp and shed light in dark places. That would have meant an end to the era of endless wars and of the “interagency” bureaucratic control of foreign policy.

The intelligence community fought back against Trump from the start with phony and illegal criminal and counterintelligence probes, and supported a sham impeachment as well. Why should we not feel comfortable in guessing that the intelligence community also played a role in the election fraud of Nov. 3.

Of course, students of the JFK assassination will recognize the pattern. Kennedy threatened to break up the CIA after the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion, and somehow multiple figures involved in that fiasco were also implicated in the Dallas shooting of Kennedy. They ranged from Cuban exiles to Mafia leaders and of course CIA agents. But with the Warren Report, the Deep State (official Washington) was able to quash any theory that pointed in any direction beside the “patsy” Lee Harvey Oswald.

That coverup was highly successful and might have never been questioned widely except for the work of one man, Jim Garrison, the New Orleans district attorney who claimed in 1966 to have evidence of CIA involvement in the murder of Kennedy.

In the foreshortened timeline of the election fraud story, Garrison is represented by Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and Lin Wood, who have bravely fought to bring to light the irregularities, illegalities and discrepancies of the election. As a result of their efforts to protect election integrity, they have been vilified in the mainstream media, called liars by Big Tech and painted as fringe “conspiracy theorists.”

The attempted marginalization of Powell and Giuliani, two respected former U.S. attorneys, and Wood, one of the top plaintiff’s attorneys in the world, is laughable on its face, and is highly reminiscent of what was done to Garrison (pictured).

Garrison had been tipped off about a New Orleans connection to the assassination, and vigorously pursued leads through a labyrinth of seedy French Quarter hangouts and spy shacks. His best chance at solving the “crime of the century” died in February 1967 when the eccentric David Ferrie was found dead at the age of 48 less than a week after the New Orleans States-Item identified him as a suspect in Garrison’s investigation.

But for two more years, Garrison doggedly pursued what he was convinced was the real story of the Kennedy assassination — a vendetta led by disenchanted anti-Castro Cubans and CIA assets like Ferrie who felt betrayed by Kennedy’s failure to support the Bay of Pigs invasion. Although Garrison failed to prove anything conclusively, his work led to millions of people taking renewed interested in what was widely seen as a miscarriage of justice.

Oddly enough, it was that surge of interest that may have been Garrison’s downfall. So many people were unconvinced by the Warren Report that they flooded New Orleans to join Garrison’s investigation as volunteers or to share information about Oswald, Ferrie, Cubans or other aspects of the assassination story. Likewise, thousands of Americans sent money and messages to Garrison, and his tiny office was inundated with tens of thousands of tips, some of which were useful, but many more of which were either mistaken, fanciful or outright deceptive.

Garrison became — how should I say it? — enchanted by the sheer volume of what was being shared with him through this analog version of crowd-sourcing, and he lost perspective on what was pertinent and what was mere distraction.

There is plenty of evidence that the CIA took advantage of the chaos and enthusiasm in Garrison’s office to seed fake leads and too-good-to-be-true theories that were great for generating publicity but then boomeranged when it turned out they were not quite right. Garrison, you see, was prone to speculating, which led him to sometimes tout information which was not yet confirmed, leading to a loss of credibility when it proved invalid.

Which brings us to Election 2020.

In our contemporary parallel to Garrison, Sidney Powell is playing the promethean role of bringer of light, and like Garrison she has been overwhelmed with data. Powell has repeatedly categorized the information about voter fraud being conveyed to her team as arriving “through a fire hose” — in other words, in great volume and at great speed. It is not surprising therefore that on occasion, Powell and the other attorneys involved should misspeak or mischaracterize some of the evidence at hand. I have noted elsewhere that Powell’s frequent references to Dominion as a company with Venezuelan roots seems to more accurately be a reference to Smartmatic. Yes, Smartmatic sold Sequoia to Dominion in 2010, but that does not make Canadian-based Dominion a Venezuelan company.

If I were inclined to spin my own conspiracy theory here, it would be to wonder aloud whether some of the information being shared with the Trump lawyers is intentionally misleading, perhaps planted with the intent of damaging their credibility.

That was certainly the case in the Garrison investigation, which threatened to expose a clandestine network of domestic and foreign terrorism engaged in by the CIA. Is anyone surprised that the CIA spent considerable resources on sabotaging Garrison with moles, phony leads, and devastating news stories by the complicit/compliant/co-opted media that inevitably painted Garrison as a money-hungry, criminally minded dirty prosecutor who was more a publicity hound than a lawman?

But despite some flaws in how he prosecuted the assassination case, Garrison deserves the nation’s thanks for not accepting the official story, but rather plumbing the depths of the swamp in search for the truth. Although he never definitively “solved” the assassination plot, he changed history forever. Specifically, by making public the Zapruder film of the JFK assassination, Garrison assured that future generations would never against trust their government blindly (a fact that was reinforced by “JFK,” Oliver Stone’s 1991 film about Garrison).

Likewise, we may not know for years what role the CIA or FBI has played in trying to discredit Trump’s lawyers or stalling them through means both legal and illegal.

It will be a long shot for Team Trump to bring the truth to light in the few days remaining before the next president is sworn in, but they will be remembered by history as the last line of defense between liberty and lawlessness.
