Montana’s blue counties finally started counting votes again this morning and Sen. Jon Tester has taken the lead. He won’t give it up again.
Lots of votes still coming in from Missoula, Great Falls and Bozeman, where Democrat Tester is running strong. We’ve seen similar overnight swings in Montana before, and I have a suspicion it’s intentional.
Anyway, looks like the farmer from Big Sandy is going back to DC for a third term. Meanwhile, Montana returns Greg Gianforte to House. Can anyone explain to me the Montana mindset that is comfortable with voting for both Tester and Gianforte when they are polar opposites on the issues? Too weird for me to fathom.#mtsen #mattformontana #sentester #mtpol

I don't get it either, Frank.
I think they hold back to make sure how many votes he'll need to win before reporting. Worked for him before.
