I want to do a special shout-out tonight to Roseann Quinn, a friend of Heartland Diary USA, who provided the subject matter for my Monday column at RealClearPolitics.com.
Quinn sent me a letter that was addressed to her late father-in-law Orion Quinn by Arizona’s Sen. Barry Goldwater in 1974. The senator made some points about slanted news coverage that were remarkably prescient of a certain president’s attacks on Fake News!
