CBS accidentally tells the truth about the border crisis — then scrubs it!

Thanks to retired newsman Don Surber for spotting this piece of prestidigitation by the #FakeNewsMongers at CBS.

CBS reported, “Fact check: Number of women sexually assaulted on trip to border.

“CLAIM: The president claimed one in three women have been sexually assaulted traveling to the border.

“FACT CHECK: Between 60 percent and 80 percent of female migrants traveling through Mexico are raped along the way, Amnesty International estimates.”

Hilarious. Who is in charge? Ralph Wiggums?

Thanks for making the president’s point.

So to prove the Fake News narrative that the president is a big fat liar, CBS announced that the president is misleading the public about the danger of a wall-less border — He said one-third of illegal migrant women are sexually assaulted, but Trump is a liar! It’s actually two-thirds of women who are sexually assaulted! Therefore, NO WALL!

Oops! Someone must have told CBS they were actually helping the president make his case because as Surber points out, “The network later scrubbed that [sexual assault number] from its fact-check.”
