Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, was on “This Week With George Stephanopoulos” today and delivered a fiery response to Robert Mueller and Adam Schiff and the call for impeachment. He gave a strenuous defense of President Trump, as he always does, by lacerating the Democrats and Deep State for conspiring against him.
So my question is “Where is Kevin McCarthy?” How often do you see Rep. McCarthy defending the president, and doing it well? More importantly “Why can’t McCarthy vigorously and publicly refute the hateful Democrats in Congress?” And if he can’t or won’t, then why is he the House minority leader?
What is wrong with House Republicans that they elevate weak or duplicitous leaders such as McCarthy, Paul Ryan and John Boehner when they have men such as Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz waiting in the wings?
Only one thing: Pitiful, cowardly appeasement of the Deep State and the politically correct Democrats.
