Race-baiting journalists are a fully owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party

Nothing has quite exposed the hypocrisy and racial divisiveness of the Democrats as the current mischaracterization of President Trump’s tweets about Baltimore as being somehow racist.

That hypocrisy and divisiveness — and the lies of the Fake News machine — were on full display as usual during the Sunday morning talk shows today. It goes without saying that Fake News Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party, so wherever one goes, they both go.

On ABC’s “This Week,” George Stephanopoulos called Trump’s tweets “racist” — not allegedly racist, as would be appropriate for a newsman — saying they were “another racist attack on an African-American member of Congress and the city he represents.”

Jake Tapper on CNN talked about “racist attacks” and pretended that the tweets were an attack on the residents of Baltimore instead of on their corrupt Democratic government. He let guest Bernie Sanders do most of the lying for him, as it was Sanders who said Trump was “attacking people because they were African-Americans,” which of course is not supported by evidence of any kind.

Quisling Chris Wallace on “Fox New Sunday” said, “This seems to be the worst kind of racial stereotyping — black congressman, majority black district — ‘No human being would want to live there’ — Is he saying people that live in Baltimore are not human?”

That represents the lowest form of sophistry, where Wallace twists the president’s words into a pretzel. Saying humans don’t want to live in rat-infested areas doesn’t mean that people who live in rat-infested areas are not human. Wallace should know better, which would mean he is intentionally lying about the president’s words. But having watched Wallace for years now, I lean toward the alternative — which is that Wallace is just plain stupid.

Folks, there was not a word about race in the tweets (which you can read here in an earlier post) but rather about the conditions in the Baltimore district represented by Rep. Elijah Cummings, who happens to be black.

Now, either Cummings can be criticized or he cannot. He happens to be black, but he is also a powerful congressman. If members of Congress who are black cannot be criticized we had better find that out now.

All Trump did was point out the hypocrisy of Cummings criticizing the conditions in border detention facilities when worse conditions exist in his own home district. This is a reasonable argument, which could apply to either a white or black congressman, so again the question is whether or not Cummings is exempt from criticism because he is black. The Democrats and Fake News Media seem to think so, which of course means they are the racists, not Trump.

Seems like the part of the president’s tweets that really upset the leftists was that Trump referred to Baltimore as “rodent and rat infested.” They seem to think that is racist code language as if rats are not the universal symbol of decay and danger. That also seem to think no white people live in Cummings’ district. Rats bother all people — white, black, Asian — which is why they are so powerful as a symbol of decay and disregard. Only left-wing racists try to turn universal symbols into racist code words.

It is also interesting to note that all of the left-wing outrage has been directed to Trump referring to the district as “rat infested.” I have not seen one media report on the much more serious allegation in the president’s tweets — that Cummings’ Baltimore district is “the worst run and most dangerous” anywhere in the United States.

“No human being would want to live there. Where is all this money going? How much is stolen? Investigate this corrupt mess immediately!”

So what about these allegations of corruption and stolen money? Is the loud clamor about racist tweets supposed to divert our attention from the president calling out corruption and misconduct? That’s my guess.

  1. I have been very familiar with Baltimore since 1950 with family living there. I can attest to the veracity of Trump’s tweet as being understated and not racist. Just watch the HBO series, The Wire, about drugs, etc, hailed as the greatest crime series of the past thirty years. It was largely true, filmed in the city, written by a newspaper editor. RLS

    1. Thanks Rick. I think the reputation of Baltimore as an urban disaster is well testified. Suspect that all the wealthy reporters and Dems in DC don’t want to acknowledge the squalor they are surrounded by as they thrive in their own wealth.

  2. Yep…and I’m old enough to remember San Francisco when its safe streets were kept clean as a whistle and no one was living on the streets. Looks like one of Trump’s latest tweets
has Pelosi and her Dem cohorts rightfully on the fence about that situation too.
