On first look, it appears the mail bomber was a typical “lone nut.” Thank God he was also apparently incompetent or the story could have been much worse. No one of sound mind can possibly think violence is an appropriate response to political disputes. Assassination is always abhorrent. Let’s make sure we use the appropriate tool of voting on Election Day to shape our nation’s future.
