When you heard the story about a husband and wife and their 10-year-old daughter who were killed by a drunk driver who crashed into their home in California, you were heartbroken.
When you heard that the killer was an illegal immigrant you were angry.
When you heard that the illegal immigrant, Ismael Huazo-Jardinez, had a long criminal history of reckless driving charges and traffic citations but was never turned over to ICE officials for deportation because of California’s sanctuary policy, you were furious.
When you heard that Huazo-Martinez was let out on bail by a California judge who set the illegal alien’s bond at just $300,000, you wondered which was more dangerous — the killer or the legal system that enabled him?
Fortunately, this time Huazo-Jardinez was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after he was released from prison. Yeah, the same ICE agents who are spat upon by progressive Democrats who gave free rein to the illegal aliens in the first place.
Finally, when you read that the Department of Homeland Security is releasing 1,200 illegal aliens a day into the United States without supervision, you wonder how long it will be before another person will die because someone was in our country illegally and no one did anything about it.
If you want a definition of tragedy, that is it. When a 10-year-old girl is not safe sleeping in her own bed because California decided to welcome dangerous criminals into their state, then we must be angry and we must do something about it. If we don’t, then we are all to blame when the next 10-year-old dies needlessly.
President Trump must act on his national emergency and protect the homeland. It’s time to stop the invasion. Do whatever it takes, no matter the cost. Protect our people now.
