If you don’t know me, my name is Frank Miele, and I was managing editor of the Daily Inter Lake for 18 years before retiring last year. I decided to launch www.HeartlandDiaryUSA.com to continue supporting President Trump, and what started with the help of a few friends has grown rapidly into a family of thousands. I am happy to have your support as we continue our mission to restore America to its founding principles.
Most of our followers are on Twitter (@HeartlandDiary), more than 4,700 so far, and we are grateful to have discovered the strong MAGA community on Twitter. You have President Trump’s back, and he is lucky to have you working for him!
Another 150 followers are on Facebook (@HeartlandDiaryUSA) but that small number doesn’t tell the whole story. Almost every day, my website at www.HeartlandDiaryUSA.com gets five or 10 times more referrals from Facebook than Twitter. That means Facebook users are much more likely to actually read my daily columns, and for that I am extremely grateful. Writing a tweet just takes a few seconds, but I typically spend hours on each daily entry on the website.
There are fewer than 100 subscribers (it’s free) directly at www.HeartlandDiaryUSA.com, but you all have a special place in my heart. Thanks for your support. Poor excuse of an editor that took your place. He seems to have a habit of picking the worst of the worst condemnation of President DJT from AP and slapping it on the front page of the Daily Inter Lake
I agree with Kay above- the Interlake has been scraping bottom since you left. They at least could print your commentary instead of Salena’s – who wants to read about Virginia in Montana. I suggested this to them with no response. The opinion page is like a dead fish – no longer vibrant and thought provoking.

We need a Montana “real” news go to place to keep informed. So much is happening in our neck of the woods that might affect ALL Montanans, but isn’t known because the drive by media ignores whatever might conflict with it’s propaganda.BTW Most of the MT “anointed” media news is ALL opinion. And they’ve stopped on line comments because the posters had more facts than their so called “report”. Thanks again.
