Will the federal government actually take the rare step of enforcing immigration law on Sunday? Law-abiding citizens want to know.
President Trump originally announced more than three weeks ago that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would arrest and deport thousands of illegal immigrants who have been issued final orders of deportation but have never left the country. He then, on June 22, said he would delay the raids for two weeks “to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border.” That, of course, was never going to happen, and Nancy Pelosi, who supposedly requested the delay, has not lifted one finger to fix the immigration loopholes, as we all knew she would not.
So now, the enforcement action MUST take place. No more delays! Pelosi and the Democrats will never do anything to fix the problems in our country. Their only goal for the next 17 months is to delay, deflect and deny this president as he tries to Make America Great Again.
You can bet that as soon as the arrests begin on Sunday, there will be left-wing lawyers waking up judges on Sunday morning to sign phony injunctions to protect criminal aliens from deportation. This is the proven tactic of the left, and Trump should never surrender an inch to them.
He needs to force the anti-American Democrat left to show their cards on each and every issue so that the pro-American voters will finally recognize that their country is at risk if they vote for socialist, globalist, America-hating Democrats.
It will be amusing to watch the left-wing Sunday morning talk shows crying about the horrible “Trump raids” on the poor innocent immigrants. It is so predictable. These are not “raids” and border detention facilities are not “concentration camps,” but to the anti-American media, all that matters is destroying Trump.
The president must fight back on every issue from now until Nov. 3, 2020, when he is re-elected.
