Listening to Rep. Jerry Nadler’s opening statement suggests to me that the Democrats in Congress may truly be possessed.
Like the Salem Witch Hunt, the ones making the accusations are the only ones doing the devil’s work, and the people being accused are guilty of nothing except possibly being a little different than everyone else.
No one doubts that President Donald Trump is different than every president who came before him. He is a nonconformist, and that scares people who have always done things the same way, but the American people elected the nonconformist. He is the president we want and he is doing the things we want.
Therefore, according to the Democrats, he must go!
What is truly demonic about the Democratic strategy is that they know the longer they push their fake impeachment scam, the more they will provoke ordinary Americans, so that they can accuse us of being Trump cult members or right-wing conspiracy kooks. But we need to get over worrying about what they call us. The Socialist Left wants to destroy us and our country, and they will stop at nothing to do it.
Perhaps the highlight of the entire lengthy day of hearings therefore will be that which happened at the very beginning — when a man started shouting from the audience what millions of us feel.:
“Jerry Nadler and the Democrat Party are committing treason against this country. And you can kick me out but he’s the one committing crimes. You are, Jerry Nadler. You’re the one committing treason. America is done with this. America is sick of the treason committed by the Democrat Party. We’re not gonna sit here and watch you run an impeachment scam and remove our vote. We voted for Donald Trump and they’re simply removing him because they don’t like him. Americans are sick of your impeachment scam. They’re sick of the Democrat treason. We know who committed crimes and it wasn’t Trump. Trump is innocent.”
The guy doing the shouting was J. Owen Shroyer, who I’ve never heard of before. Turns out he is affiliated with Alex Jones and Infowars. I wish he was just a guy off the street, not someone who could be accused of doing it for publicity, but nonetheless the commentary was dead-on accurate.
I’ve been saying for months now that the Democrats are inciting a new civil war, whether it is a hot one or a cold one. In that regard, and taking account of the fact that Speaker Pelosi has already declared war on the president, Shroyer may well be a modern take on Paul Revere warning the nation against an attack that is just starting but that will be long, hard and deadly.
