Democrats no doubt feel as giddy as small children when they hear that the circus is coming to town.
The Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler Impeachment Circus Train is pulling up at the Senate station, and you can already see the House impeachment managers piling into their clown cars and driving around in circles honking their big loud horns!
Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the clown brigade this morning at a press conference. Named as impeachment managers were Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Zoe Lofgren, Val Demings, Sylvia Garcia, Jason Crow and Hakeem Jeffries.
As evidence of the political nature of this farce, take note of the timing of Pelosi’s press conference just an hour before the signing of the historic Phase One trade deal with China.
Then listen to the rhetoric of Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler. When Nadler talks about the president committing a “betrayal of the country,” it shows how out of touch these clowns are with the American public. The only betrayal has come from the Democrats, who have worked for three years to destroy President Trump.
When Nancy Pelosi worries about the “unfair” rules of the Senate, one can only compare her to Herman Goering and other Nazis complaining about fairness at the Nuremberg War Trials. Pelosi and Schiff engineered the sham impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives. They denied President Trump due process and abused their power by refusing to allow Republicans to call witnesses or to freely interrogate those whom they were allowed to depose.
Make no mistake. This is serious business. The Democrats have the power to overturn a presidential election, but that doesn’t mean they should be treated with respect or seriousness. They are clowns. All we are waiting to find out now is whether they are ordinary everyday harmless clowns or the killer variety.
But one thing is certain: They are giving clowns a bad name.
