President Trump’s attorneys outdid themselves on Monday, as they shot the House managers’ impeachment case to shreds. In particular, they exploded the myth of the untouchable Bidens, and even threw in Obama to boot.
First up Pam Bondi, the former attorney general of Florida, laid out all the information about State Department concern about corruption in Ukraine, Hunter Biden’s involvement in the Ukraine, and Joe Biden’s bragging claim that he had gotten the prosecutor-general fired by threatening to withhold over $1 billion in foreign aid.
“You’ve heard from the House managers. They do not believe that there was any concern to raise here, that all of this was baseless,” Bondi said. “And all that we are saying is that there was a basis to talk about this, to raise this issue. And that was enough.”
Bondi cited concerns about Hunter Biden serving on the board of Burisma from a variety of sources, including State Department witness George Kent as well as “an ABC White House reporter, Good Morning America, ABC, the Washington Post, the New York Times, Ukrainian law enforcement, and the Obama State Department itself.”
Bondi delivered a packages full of goodies, but it was up to attorney Eric Herschmann to wrap it up and tie it with a neat bow.
“These articles of impeachment must be rejected. As we will see the House managers do not come close to meeting the burden,” Herschmann told the assembled senators, and then said what anyone with a brain has been saying for months!
“Last week, Manager Schiff said that the investigations President Trump supposedly asked President Zelensky about on the July 25 call could not have been in the country’s interest because he said quote unquote they were discredited entirely. The House managers say that the investigations were debunked, they were sham investigations. So now we have the question: Were they really?
“The House managers in the over 21 hours of their repetitive presentation never found the time to support those conclusory statements. Was it in fact true that any investigation had been debunked? The House managers do not identify for you who supposedly conducted any investigations, who supposedly did the debunking, who discredited it? Where and when were any such investigations conducted, when were the results published, and much more is left unanswered.
Herschmann even went after President Obama for his infamous open-mike incident with the president of Russia, where he promised tohave more flexibility after the next election! Beautiful! Why, Herschmann asked, didn’t the DEemocrats demand that Obama be impeached?
The two presentations consumed more then an hour of time and established once and for all that the only sham was the House impeachment inquiry. Unfortunately, the American public were deprived of watching much of this presentation. As Christine Laila reported at Gateway Pundit, “the three largest networks, ABC, CBS and NBC blacked out Bondi’s damning presentation exposing the Biden crime family. Fake news networks, all regulated by the FCC, are covering for the Democrats and protecting 2020 Democrat front runner Joe Biden!”
But it wasn’t just the mainstrream news channels that blacked out the coverage. Even Fox News thought it was more important for us to watch Greg Gutfeldt and the self-absorbed hosts of “The Five” debate impeachment than to just let us watch it for ourselves.
President Trump should be vindicated on the diabolical charges leveled against him by Adam Schiff and the Coup Crew, but I’m not sure we can say the same thing for the journalism profession, nor perhaps for America itself, both of which seem to be on a downward trajectory of obliviousness and deception.

We watched it all on PBS and were awestruck by Dershositz’s brilliant presentation. Maybe something will be said today in the chamber about the blockage by the channels from the pit.
