During his opening statement at the July 29 House hearing on Big Tech, Rep. Jim Jordan outlines multiple examples of conservative voices being silenced by Google, Facebook and other social media giants. As Jordan explains, this has given Big Tech an unregulated and substantial veto power over US elections.
“I’ll just cut to the chase. Big Tech is out to get conservatives,” Jordan began. He then proved his case with examples as current as yesterday’s announcement by Breitbart.com that Google has eliminated 99 percent of their referrals. In other words, if you do a Google search for Joe Biden, you will not find any results from Breitbart.com, probably the number one conservative political site. Gee, skew the election any? Ya think?
Meanwhile, while Twitter and Facebook are censoring President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and multiple other conservatives for somehow putting the public in danger, it is OK on Twitter for the Supreme Leader of Iran to say Iran “will strike a reciprocal blow in the United States” for the death last year of the terrorist Suleimani.
This is not just un-American, it is unacceptable.
