WTH?!? Who put Fox News in charge of running interference for Dominion?

As everyone knows, Dominion Voting Systems has been accused of providing the tool for Democrats to steal the election from President Trump.

Up till today, however, they have not answered any questions about their technology. That changed when a PR flack named Michael Steel representing Dominion appeared on “America’s News Headquarters” to be interviewed by Eric Shawn this afternoon. Steel is a partner with Hamilton Place Strategies in DC.

Steel denied every claim made by Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell about Dominion’s alleged role in election fraud.

Shawn was embarrassing to himself and Fox News, starting with his first softball:

“The first question people want to know: Did a Dominion machine change one vote from Biden to Trump or from Trump to Biden?”

No, that is not a question anyone has asked. Certainly no one thinks votes were switched to favor Trump, but the issue isn’t one vote either way. The issue is hundreds of thousands of votes for Biden that appeared mysteriously after vote counting was halted in four or five states in the middle of the night while Trump was way ahead.

Shawn kept asking questions of Steel that would obviously not elicit a helpful response. Did Dominion steal the election? No. Can Dominion machines be used to flip votes? No. What did Shawn expect Steel to say?

Repeatedly, Steel tried to offload responsibility for the election results to local officials and “poll watchers,” but everyone knows that the digitalization of the election means any individual who is not a trained computer nerd wont have any idea what’s going on inside the machines.

Steel claimed it is “physically impossible” for a Dominion voting machine to be manipulated into switching votes because they print out paper ballots after voters make their choices. There are dozens of ways a smart programmer could get around that system, and of course Steel is not a programmer himself — he is just a paid flack repeating what he was told to say.

For a moment, it looked like Shawn might challenge Steel when he pointed out that Trump supporters would not trust Steel because he had worked for RINO politicians like John Boehner and Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush. Ryan of course is on the board of Fox News, and is suspected of being in part responsible for Fox’s left-wing turn in recent years.

But instead of pursuing Steel’s political bias, Shawn glossed over his guest’s lack of credibility and instead used it as a platform to ask Steel to opine on the danger of conservatives questioning the election.

“As someone who works in Washington, as someone who was involved in public policy, what do these type of allegations do to the integrity and credibility and belief in our election system? What do they do to the very foundation of the republic that we hold so dear?”

Shawn’s voice was fraught with concern as he asked Steel this, and you could almost see him vying next year with Gov. Cuomo for the Emmy for Best Performance by a Democratic Tool.

Steel didn’t miss a beat:

“Look, I’m a conservative Republican. I’ve worked for conservative causes, candidates and elected officials for nearly twenty years. I think that these allegations are not allegations against Dominion Voting Systems. They are against our elected officials, at the state and local level, bipartisan poll watchers. The very system that inspires the countenance that we have and the love of our country is under attack through these allegations, and it is all our obligation to defend the truth, to defend democracy, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

OK, that is a steaming pile of dog poop — from diverting the attack (and responsibility) away from Dominion to the suggestion that those who have doubts about the integrity of the system are themselves somehow responsible for that very lack of integrity.

Let’s just remember Steel’s credentials. His bio at Hamilton Place Strategies proudly points out that he has been “a frequent guest on MSNBC, NPR, and Bloomberg TV and radio.” Not exactly strong credentials for a conservative Republican. Sounds more like Conservative Inc. or the Lincoln Project!

We need to hear from the partners at Dominion and Smartmatic directly, and not from second-hand defenders. This interview on Fox didn’t settle anything. It was just a platform for Dominion to whitewash its reputation and didn’t answer any questions. Hopefully, Trump’s lawyers will be given the right to call witnesses in some court of law before it is too late.

  1. Amazing that in the past, Eric Shawn was the go-to Fox reporter for uncovering “voter fraud.” Were his past investigations no good? President Trump even quoted some of Eric Shawn’s findings a few years ago. So for Eric Shawn not to question this salesman from Dominion makes Eric Shawn and Fox show their bias by acting as Dominion’s lobbyists.

  2. Paul Ryan never got over that a good little republican party guy like himself, did not win the presidency in 2012, but Trump won in 2016. So why wouldn’t Romney join other Trump haters and insist that the party declare the election is over….. nothing to see here. No voter fraud, nope… Jealous. Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney’s jealousy is very ugly.

  3. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were super righteous when they ran for President and vice president. They lost to Obama and there were stories of voter fraud then….by Eric Shawn!!

Romney and Paul Ryan, who both did everything right, by not speaking against anyone or anything, and, therefore, did not have any specific belief system or beliefs, did not win the 2012 presidency with their chameleon personalities. So their jealousy and anger that someone without their superior political knowledge could win was repulsive to both of them. They are thrilled there was voter fraud against President Trump. Thrilled.

  4. Paul Ryan thinks he is the smartest person in the room because he’s so smart about budgets. Not. It turns out President Trump and his team ran rings around Paul Ryan’s adolescent attempts to fix the economy. Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, Bill Kristol, Lisa Murkowsky, along with the pretentious Lincoln project people full of pretentious faux conservatives – plus the self-righteous Romney, and that fool Chris Christie, are all more narcissistic and egocentric than anyone in the Trump administration right now. Chris Christie is a turn-coat and has been a phony friend of President Trump’s for many, many years. Christie took advantage of one of President Trump’s most tremendous traits, his loyalty. So it is understandable that he finds any excuse to criticize him and criticize the voter fraud issue. A boor and a thug. But most of all….disloyal.

  5. Chris Christie is a disloyal opportunist. Who on earth would trust him? Chris Christie enjoyed criticizing President Trump’s fight for the votes of 72 million people. Christie is not loyal to the Republican party. His loyalty is only to himself. He loves it if people are adoring him. Chris Christie demands adoration and respect for his crude demeanor and rude responses. Yet he criticized President Trump because the cool guys did it. He is pandering to the biased and unfair puppet masters of MSNBC and/or CNN who were paying Chris Christie to hear any criticism. Chris Christie decided he’s had enough of President Trump’s fight for his job and wants him to get on with the transition. Christie thinks he’s going to run and win in 2024. No way. Chris Christie and Andrew Cuomo and his dullard brother are all thugs. President Trump has more dignity than they do, but that have transferred onto Me. Trump what they, themselves, are guilty of. Thuggish behavior from them. Typical.

  6. I think that Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, and Romney are the worst possible republicans because of their disloyalty. They all are guilty of their egocentric power hungry jealousy of President Trump. Chris Christie is a disloyal “friend” of President Trump. Chris Christie, or Romney, could not have accomplished 1/100th of what President Trump accomplished but I feel that they think they should have been the ones in the oval office. I think that Chris Christie and Romney believe they earned the presidency. I think that they also think they are “entitled,” sort of like Hillary. So they are all looking forward to running for President in 2024.

  7. What is the difference between Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, Chris Wallace, and Andrew Cuomo? Nothing. Not one thing. They are all jealous angry hypocrites. Thugs and louts. Keep the prayers going for a legal answer to keep President Trump our President. (Footnote: Every SINGLE time that I typed “President,” the autofill was “Obama.” EVERY SINGLE TIME. Whenever I type “President,”that other person’s name fills in. Plus, every story on my “google-feed” is from axios, wapo, nyt, and every article is biased. That’s Google.)

  8. Seventy two million people are praying for President Trump’s re-election but we need a national call for the media activists, as well as so-called republicans, to “stand down” and play fair and support the very real idea that fraudulent votes were filled out by Nancy and her henchmen. Pelosi said she and her buddies had many more arrows in her quiver. Why would anyone NOT suspect her and the people who disagree with 72 million deplorable people? I wouldn’t put anything subversive past her. I hope what she helped go around will come back around to her. Call it karma? Call it justice?

  9. Can the media “of the future” be trusted not transfer their desire for a Marxist system onto their television audience? The media activists love their power. They can make you and break you and if they are not held accountable for the hoaxes and slander they have spread throughout the world, we will never have truth again – unless President Trump continues to communicate to us by Twitter or Parlar. Voter fraud is real. Nancy Pelosi told us she had other methods to hurt Trump. I believed her then, and I hope it can be proven now since she basically confessed to sedition.
