Kayleigh McEnany: Shame on CNN’s Brianna Keilar for supporting ‘mob justice’

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany always has a prepared closing statement for her press briefings. Today (Sept. 24, 2020) she laid into CNN anchor Brianna Keilar for apparently supporting mob violence and “mob justice.”

When Keilar showed video Wednesday night of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron declaiming that “Mob justice is not justice,” she seemed to question that rather obvious statement about the rule of law.

Keilar said, “I question the judgment of the Kentucky attorney general saying, ‘mob justice is not justice.’ He said it becomes revenge. And, you know, that’s not being said in a vacuum, Laura, because that word ‘the mob’ and the president having said that if Joe Biden wins, the mob wins, that’s what he said – we know this is very politically loaded language.”

Of course, Keilar was just following the dictates of CNN President Jeff Zucker to denigrate Trump at every opportunity, but that doesn’t excuse her of responsibility. McEnany reminded everyone today that shortly after Keilar made her reckless comments, two police officers were shot by “the mob” in Louisville during rioting over the Breonna Taylor grand jury decision.

“That’s an appalling statement… the words of CNN and Brianna Keilar are outrageous, irresponsible. and we should never hear statements like that,” McEnany said.

Hooray for Kayleigh McEnany!

  1. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is the best. She cuts through the nonsensical foolishness the “n’ere do well” so- called reporters dream up every day in order to boost their own fame. The reporters from the liberal press do not act on behalf of the safety, security, or well being of the American public. They tell stories. They don’t report them. Now at 74 years of age, I look back and now know that the press shaped hundreds of stories for their own interest. Sad it took me so long. If we had Frank Miele when I was younger I would have been better informed.
