The president has come to the same conclusion as me — the New York Times made up its story about Attorney General Bill Barr mischaracterizing the Mueller Report.
In a tweet Thursday morning, the president took dead aim on the formerly respected newspaper and reduced them to irrelevance in under four dozen words.
“The New York Times had no legitimate sources, which would be totally illegal, concerning the Mueller Report. In fact, they probably had no sources at all! They are a Fake News paper who have already been forced to apologize for their incorrect and very bad reporting on me!”
Oh yes, and the Justice Department hit back at a Washington Post story that made similar claims about Barr not releasing material that should have gone public right away.
A senior Justice Department official told Fox News that The Post’s reporting was “not true,” and claimed the outlet is guilty of “misreporting.”
“Every page of the ‘confidential report’ provided to Attorney General Barr on March 22, 2019 was marked ‘May Contain Material Protected Under Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e)’ – a law that protects confidential grand jury information – and therefore could not be publicly released,” Justice Department spokeswoman Kerri Kupec said in a statement to Fox News. “Given the extraordinary public interest in the matter, the Attorney General decided to release the report’s bottom-line findings and his conclusions immediately — without attempting to summarize the report — with the understanding that the report itself would be released after the redaction process.”
But none of this matters to Democrat obstructionists or their allies (bosses?) in the left-wing media. That’s why you can’t believe anything you read or see on TV unless you do your own research. Read “The Media Matrix” for many more examples of Fake News in the last 25 years.

I like it that our President is wiling to publicly take on the fake news in a transparent and progressive manner. How else would we know, other than it has been that way for years it now appears. President Trump has set a new standard of political transparency for all who assume that office and the other federal office holders that are subject to such nefarious fakery done solely to destroy our confidence in those who serve. Senator Durban and his cabal, along with Rep Nadler and pencil head all display a complete lack of loyalty for the truth and the citizens they represent. They are the charlatons of our time; disloyal, liars, seditious, and seekers of personal power to use for their own interest rather than the country at large. Thank goodness we have Frank! RLS
I hope our country can see how foolish these new political newbies are. They are definitely lacking common sense and if they would study some history it would be obvious how wrong they are. If they think everything is going to be free, they will have a great disappointment.
