Week after week, Maria Bartiromo provides the straight news on her daily Fox Business show and on her “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News.
She never settles for the official story, but digs behind and isn’t afraid to place blame on the politicians who are playing games with American money and American lives.
This Sunday, March 29, Maria had a great show that didn’t just spread more doom and gloom about corona virus but asked for answers. She had three great guests on who offered their different perspectives on the way Congress and the US have been responding to the current crisis. I’ve got video of two of them, which I recommend if you didn’t get to see the whole show.
First up is Sen. Lindsey Graham. The clip Zi have is Graham’s response to Maria bringing you the following outrageous quote by Speaker Nancy Pelosi in an earlier interview with Jake “The Snake” Tapper on CNN:
“The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly. His continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly. What did he know and when did he know it? That’s for an after-action review. But as the president fiddles, people are dying.”
There you have it. The speaker of the House in the middle of the worst health crisis in 100 years compared President Trump to the Emperor Nero fiddling while Rome burned. Could you ever imagine we would sink so low?
Sen. Graham couldn’t — and he let Pelosi have it with both barrels.
“She’s blaming the president of the United States for people dying because of the way he’s led the country. That’s the most shameful, disgusting statement by any politician in modern history. … She’s the first politician to blame another politician for people dying.”
Graham pointed out that “This is the same speaker of the House who held up the bill in the Senate for days because she wanted same-day voting, she wanted carbon neutrality for the airlines, she wanted $75 million for the endowment for the humanities, and $25 million for the Kennedy Center.
“She is the one that held up the package in the Senate for days to get the Green New Deal put in a recovery package. So it’s the most shameful, disgusting thing I have heard yet. And it needs to stop.”
The second great moment I have video from is when Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana reviled what he called the “spending porn” included in the rescue bill.
“There’s an enormous amount of spending porn on pet projects that was put into this bill by some powerful members of Congress. They think the American people, I guess, are morons and won’t notice, but they did.”
Pelosi said he held his nose and voted for the bill to make sure Americans got the relief they needed, but he ended by saying he was “pissed off.” Along with the rest of us who are not “left of Lenin”!
The third great guest on Maria’s Show was Sen. Tom Cotton, who has been sounding the alarm on how the Chinese took advantage of the world in the coronavirus pandemic and has been lying about the crisis.
“Look at some of the mortuaries in Wuhan. They say they’ve only had 2,500 cases that resulted in deaths, yet a single mortuary has ordered more than 5,000 urns. You can look at these basic facts to know that the Chinese Communist Party is still lying today as they were in December and January, and that’s why what could have been a local health problem in Wuhan turned into a global pandemic from which more than 2,000 Americans have now died.”
Thanks to Maria Bartiromo for not simply parroting they official story, and for consistently featuring guests who tell the truth.
