Trump says “Hell No” to virtual (Fake!) debate on Oct. 15

President Trump told Maria Bartiromo on today’s “Mornings With Maria” that he would NOT participate in a virtual debate with Joe Biden.

Trump found out the same way as everyone else that the left-wing Commission on Presidential Debates had unilaterally declared that the next scheduled debate on October 15 would take place in a virtual format, with both candidates in remote locations where they could access notes, teleprompters and other debate aids.

Most importantly, the debate moderator could shut off the feed from President Trump when he holds China Joe Biden accountable.

Hell no, Trump said. “I’m not gonna waste my time in a virtual debate. That’s not what debating is all about!” Or as a New Yorker might say:

The commission’s excuse is that Trump had contracted COVID-19 but he will be fully over the virus by October 15. There is no excuse to hold a virtual debate except to protect Slow Joe Biden.

President Trump says he will hold a rally instead. Maybe he should hold his own town hall meeting where real Americans engage in a conversation with him instead of the Fake Town Hall meeting NBC hosted for Biden last week where Biden voters pretended to be undecided!

  1. I agree….. safe, free style,no holds barred, town hall meetings at every airport venue that will receive him would be great, followed by a short, non rambling, campaign speech emphasizing promises already kept and promises to be kept for the next 4 years.
Campaign rhetoric from both camps is increasingly tiresome. Concerned, on the fence, folks now want their questions answered directly from the horse’s mouth (masked, if necessary).
