Neil Cavuto and the death of Fox News

It was bad enough that Fox News called Arizona for Joe Biden with skimpy evidence, but it was an outrage that Neil Cavuto refused to air allegations of wrongdoing against the Biden campaign on the grounds that the evidence was skimpy.

This isn’t the first time that Fox host Cavuto has tried to undermine President Trump, (here’s his malpractice over COVID), but it’s the most blatant.

On Monday, Cavuto halted coverage of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s press conference alleging irregularities and fraud in the presidential election.

In talking about the lack of transparency and rush to declare Biden the winner, McEnany said, “You take these positions because you are welcoming fraud and you are welcoming illegal voting.”

That was too much for Cavuto.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just think we have to be very clear: she’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this,” Cavuto said.

You Fake News fraud!

Since when do legitimate news organizations refuse to air both sides of a breaking news controversy until all the evidence is presented?

Oops, I said “legitimate” news organizations, so that leaves Fox out, but the answer is NEVER!

This is rapidly becoming the story of the century — surpassing even the Russia Hoax — and yet Fox News can’t be bothered to cover it. Why would Fox News want to cover the opinion of the president of the United States about his belief that the election was stolen from him.

Calling Arizona early was frustrating for Trump supporters, but it’s not the first time a network tried to Bigfoot an election. But outright censoring the news and preventing one side of a story from being told violates the very central premise of reporting.

You don’t just tell one side of the story. That’s what got CNN sued in the Covington case, and it’s what is going to cost Fox News millions of viewers.

  1. Yes…Newsmax seems to be a great alternative at this time…. with Fox obviously infiltrated over the past year or so.
Shun the bloody buggers, I say, ….along with the usual suspects.

  2. I will not listen to Neil Cavuto anymore ! I only watched Fox News because they used to cover ALL stories!! You’re losing another viewer! Goodbye !

  3. I’d say Cavuto should be ashamed of himself, but that would insinuate he was human. Fox has gone so far down they’ll never get back. The only one that didn’t cave was Hannity. Oh, Tucker mentioned what Cavuto did in passing as a token reaction for his fans, but that was about it. I really hope Hannity gets out of there and finds a new place deserved of his knowledge and loyalty. I hope the rest of them enjoy sharing the ratings with the other left wing “news outlets”.

  4. We have stopped watching fox news due to neil cavuto! Cnn even supports him? What has fox news become?

  5. We on the left have been saying for years that Fox News wasn’t a legitimate news organization. Glad to see y’all are starting to come around.

However are you really claiming that news isn’t legitimate if it doesn’t agree with Donald Trump? Hell of a thing to claim for a use-to-be news man.
