It was just a few days ago when I described Liz Cheney as a cancer within the Republican Party. The GOP decided to ignore the cancer though, and now they are paying the price.
Today, Cheney went on “Fox News Sunday” and suggested to Never Trumper Chris Wallace that not only should President Trump be impeached but maybe he should be indicted for felony murder for his tweet saying that Mike Pence is a coward.
No wonder the Wyoming Republican Party voted 59-7 to censure Cheney and demand her immediate resignation. She is a huge embarrassment, but she doesn’t care what the Republican Party says because she isn’t really a Republican.
Ultimately, she doesn’t care about the future of the country (which is being sabotaged by her and the Democrats). Cheney has aided and abetted the Democrats in lying about the president’s responsibility for the Jan. 6 riot, but worst of all, she is now suggesting that perhaps Trump should face criminal charges for murder because of the Capitol riot! (Check the video about the 7:00 mark.) Outrageous.
“The Senate trial is a snapshot. There is a massive criminal investigation underway. There will be a massive criminal investigation of everything that happened on January 6 and in the days before.
“People will want to know exactly what the president was doing. They want to know, for example, whether the tweet that he sent out calling Vice President Pence a coward while the attack was underway, whether that tweet, for example, was a premeditated effort to provoke violence.”
What?!? So now Cheney wants to use the president’s political speech as a cudgel to send him to jail. She claims she is defending the Constitution, but she is actually undermining it.
Liz Cheney should have been punished by the GOP, but because they let her off the hook she is back like Glenn Close in “Fatal Attraction.” Her attack on a President Trump is a knife in the back of the Republican Party, but maybe the GOP deserves her.

I can’t believe I bought her book a few years ago “American Exceptionalism.” She is doing her best to destroy it. Of course Fox did all they could to back her on her position against Trump. She is a despicable elitist!
