GOP traitor Cheney ousted, but she won’t go quietly

Hip hip hooray! The congressional Republicans ousted Rep. Liz Cheney as their conference chair in a voice vote today!

Here’s the report from the Wall Street Journal:

“House Republicans ousted Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming from their leadership ranks in a closed-door meeting Wednesday morning, according to GOP aides, in an effort by the party to extinguish the most visible fight over former President Donald Trump and his role in the party’s future.

“She was removed in a voice vote, the aides said.

“Ms. Cheney, the House GOP’s most prominent critic of Mr. Trump, had clashed publicly with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) and other senior Republicans by pushing back on Mr. Trump’s baseless claims that the 2020 election had been stolen from him.”

In case you hadn’t guessed, the Wall Street Journal is not happy. Anyone who characterizes allegations of vote fraud in 2020 as “baseless” is a pure propagandist.

Here’s how the WSJ writes about the irregularities in the presidential election :

“Contrary to Mr. Trump’s claims, no widespread fraud has been detected in the 2020 election, and the Justice Department under Mr. Trump said there was no evidence of any fraud significant enough to question the outcome.”

Well, pardon me, but if you are too stupid to open your eyes, you have no one to blame but yourself when you don’t see the car about to hit you. Either that or you are a liar with a deceptive agenda.

There is no doubt that the last election was administered illegally in multiple states, and anyone who says otherwise is promoting the “big lie.” As for the Trump Justice Department, it was a worthless bunch of bureaucrats who might as well have taken a paycheck from the Democratic Party.

Meanwhile, Cheney demonstrated once again last night that her only purpose in life is to restore the Bush-Cheney crime family to power, and that can’t happen as long as Donald Trump remains standing.

In a defiant speech on the House floor, she continued to undermine the Republican Party with her Trump hatred.

“Remaining silent and ignoring the lie emboldens the liar. I will not participate in that,” Ms. Cheney said. “I will not sit back and watch in silence while others lead our party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former president’s crusade to undermine our democracy.”

Cheney is now on a suicidal campaign to destroy the Republican Party. Don’t underestimate her. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

  1. Yes, your prediction seems right on. Cheney will be an even greater force going forward and, until the fight between the Big Lie vs the Big Lie is resolved, she will only gain traction. Will it ever be resolved? Doubtful. New world crises and national concerns will probably take precedence. Meanwhile, the Party is left pickling in its own divisive juices…or so it seems. Hope I’m wrong.
