Can I just say how happy I am that Matt Rosendale represents Montana in Congress?
Repeatedly since he took office, Rosendale has fought hard for the MAGA movement and for common sense American values. He was one of the first members of Congress to announce he would vote not to approve some of the questionable electoral results from the 2020 presidential election. He has also consistently voted against implementing Joe Biden’s communist agenda.
Most recently, Rosendale has been a vocal critic of David Chipman, Biden’s anti-gun nominee to head up the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). In fact, Rosendale has even been part of a movement to impeach Chipman before he has even been confirmed.
“The confirmation of David Chipman to the ATF would be a direct threat to the second amendment rights of Americans and the rule of law,” Rosendale said. “Not only has Chipman previously given false testimony to Congress, but his statements on gun-control are evidence that his confirmation would be a failure to support and defend our constitutional rights. If appointed, both are impeachable offenses and worthy of Congress to consider his removal.”
Now, if only Montana’s supposedly “pro Second Amendment” Democratic senator Jon Tester would get the message! Fat chance! He will only oppose Biden if his vote doesn’t matter.
Tester is the last Democrat standing in Montana. Rosendale, the former state auditor, replaced Greg Gianforte in Montana’s lone House seat earlier this year, as part of a Republican sweep of statewide offices.
Rosendale has not always been popular among Montana Republicans. That’s mainly because he moved to the state from Maryland. “Maryland Matt” supposedly didn’t have the best interests of Montana in his heart even though he had spent decades here.
Thanks to Rosendale’s strong conservative voting record, this “carpetbagging” canard should now be put to rest forever. Montana is not a closed border state. We should welcome anyone who shares our values, and Matt Rosendale has repeatedly proved he is the real deal. It’s time to start calling him “Montana Matt.” He’s earned it!
