It was good news/bad news yesterday when we found out the fate of the two thugs who assaulted a 7-year-old boy last year outside the Democrat convention in Wilmington, Delaware.
Of course, I was glad to hear that Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of theft, child endangerment, and hate crimes for stealing a “Make America Great Again” hat from the boy and assaulting his mom.
But I’m pissed off that the two women, both 21, will get off with a slap on the wrist and no jail time. The women are scheduled to be sentenced for their crimes in September, but charges such as assault, attempted assault, and conspiracy were dropped as part of the plea deal, according to the Delaware News Journal.
I’ve written about the arrest of the two women here and here, and also did a followup post honoring the boy’s mom Abbey Wigton who heroically stood up to the Democrat thugs.
Wigton, who was a field director for Turning Point USA, the conservative youth movement, had been attending a pro-Trump rally outside the convention hall in Wilmington where Joe Biden was accepting the Democrat nomination for president.
