What is Pelosi afraid of? The truth!

If you didn’t know we were living in a post-constitutional America, today’s slap in the face by Nancy Pelosi should be your wake-up call.

Speaker Pelosi today announced that she was unilaterally rejecting two of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s picks for the so-called “select” congressional committee investigating the so-called Jan. 6 insurrection.

Gone were Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana. Both are supporters of President Trump. Jordan, in particular, is a high-profile no-nonsense America First Republican who would make sure that the committee at least looked for real answers to the riot/incursion/Reichstag Fire moment.

Pelosi will pretend that she worries that Jordan and Banks will cloud the answers the American public wants, but with her unparalleled veto of McCarthy’s choices for the panel, Pelosi made it clear that what she is really afraid of is the questions that only MAGA Republicans will ask.

To paraphrase Jack Nicholson from “A Few Good Men,” Nancy Pelosi can’t stand the truth. Hell, Democrats can’t in general. Otherwise they would allow free speech on social media and would stop lying about America.

McCarthy rightly stood his ground and told Pelosi that either Banks and Jordan are seated on the committee, or he will pull all Republicans off.

Oh wait, that’s not quite right because Pelosi already nominated one Republican to the panel — the traitor Liz Cheney. It makes me wonder whether Pelosi has this move planned all along and had her token Republican in place so that she could still claim the sham select committee was bipartisan. Hah! If Liz Cheney had any honor (she doesn’t) she would remove herself from this fake investigation rather than let herself be used like a cheap whore.

Instead, Cheney got on her soap box today and attacked Republicans. She needs to be sent packing immediately! Read more here.
