[UPDATED: As of Monday morning, national media is reporting that Mexico is backing away from the deal in an effort to blackmail more foreign aid out of the U.S. Good luck with that.]
Hats off to President Trump for getting Mexico to agree to his plan to keep asylum seekers on the southern side of the border.
Sadly it will be much harder to get the 9th Circuit Court or even the Supreme Court to see the light and protect American citizens from the organized invasion at hand.
Can we at least hope that Paul Ryan will keep his mouth shut instead of subverting the president’s strategy for implementing immigration reform? Hmmm, that may be a bridge too far.
